Bye bye, Perth - London, here I come!

Perth waved goodbye to me this morning in a pink sunrise. It was beautiful and ridiculously cold. [Why was I up at that hour...?]

Only one more sleep and 20 hours before I am on a plane for 5 hours, then stopping for 3 hours, then on another plane for 14 hours, then in Heathrow Airport! Yay me!

I am determined to add culture and substance to this blog, so look out for my observations and recommendations on sights, food, coffee, shopping, etc. - and please let me know if you (dis)agree with me. I will also graciously take on any travel or sight-seeing tips you can proffer.

Thanks to all who have wished me well in the non-journey so far. I will keep you posted. :-)
